Original Screenplays

Three original feature films. Three very different worlds.

August Chatham

Southern Gothic / Folk Horror | Feature Screenplay

In the rural American South, where faith, superstition, and tradition govern everyday life, a boy named August Chatham is born different.

As August grows, his differences become increasingly difficult for his family to explain—and impossible for his community to ignore. Whispers of something unnatural give way to religious suspicion, fear, and eventually violence. But as a darker presence begins to emerge within August himself, the line between innocent victim and genuine monster becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish.

Against a backdrop of rural isolation and deeply rooted religious beliefs, August's story unfolds as a tragedy of love, fear, and the terrible consequences of a community determined to destroy what it cannot understand.

August Chatham is a period Southern Gothic horror story that asks a disturbing question: Was the monster born, or did the people who feared him help create him?

The Lower Network

Science Fiction / Environmental Thriller | Feature Screenplay

When Dr. Megan Franklin, a struggling mycologist at the University of Kansas, discovers that a seemingly ordinary organism responds to human emotions, she begins investigating a phenomenon that challenges everything science understands about intelligence and the natural world.

In a small Kansas community, something extraordinary is happening. People are becoming calmer, kinder, and strangely free of the emotional burdens that once defined them. But beneath this apparent transformation lies an ancient biological network, one that may have existed long before humanity and extends far beyond the boundaries of the town.

As Megan uncovers the network's true nature, she confronts a disturbing possibility: the organism may not be attacking humanity at all. It may simply be correcting what it perceives as flaws in the human condition.

The Lower Network is a speculative science-fiction thriller that explores the uneasy relationship between humanity and the natural world, asking a provocative question:

If something could eliminate human suffering, what else might it eliminate in the process?

Mescaline Marmot

Absurdist Comedy / Corporate Satire | Feature Screenplay

After consuming some questionable mushrooms in a mountain meadow, a marmot finds himself living an entirely different existence—as Martin Marmet, a meticulously polite, impeccably professional corporate employee relations director. Martin believes himself to be a perfectly ordinary man from a respectable Boston family. His coworkers, however, see something rather different.

Despite his unusual appearance, Martin is remarkably good at his job. Unfortunately, the company has no record of his employment, his salary has been accumulating in an obscure accounting account for eleven years, and an impending corporate acquisition threatens to make his already questionable existence even more precarious.

As Martin navigates corporate politics, bureaucratic absurdity, and an increasingly desperate struggle to establish that he actually exists, he discovers that being indispensable to an organization is not necessarily the same as being recognized by it.

Mescaline Marmot is an absurdist comedy about identity, corporate bureaucracy, and the peculiar human tendency to confuse documentation with reality.

If the world has no record of your existence, does that mean your life never happened?
